[Community_garden] ACGA Teleconference Workshop on Community Food Projects Grant Program

The American Community Gardening Association's next Teleconference Workshop
will not be limited to just ACGA members.  

 

The workshop will be about the USDA's Community Food Projects Grant program.
Now into its eleventh year, this funding program will have three granting
components: planning grants, training & technical assistance grants, and
comprehensive community food project grants.  As last year, grantees will be
required to file a Letter of Intent (most likely in February.)  For the
first time, full proposals will be required to be submitted electronically
through www.grants.gov <http://www.grants.gov/> .  During the call, Zy
Weinburg will cover what can and can not be funded and the various
requirements of the three programs.  Current and previous grantees will
describe their experiences.

 

Register today if you wish to participate in the 60-90-minute workshop
conducted by toll-free telephone conference call, being held on Thursday,
January 11, 2007 at 4 PM eastern, 3 PM central, 2 PM mountain, and 1 PM
