    The Greening of Detroit, a non-profit organization, works to grow a greener Detroit through planting and educational programs, environmental leadership, advocacy, and by building community capacity.  In collaboration with several other organizations, the Greening of Detroit organizes the Garden Resource Program, which provides resources, education and connections to urban gardeners in the city. Catherine Ferguson Academy is a Detroit Public High School for pregnant and parenting teens, with a working school farm.  CFA also serves as a neighborhood cluster center for the Garden Resource Program. Our organization is seeking a candidate for a full time Americorps position.  The Americorps member will work with The Greening of Detroit and CFA to coordinate Garden Resource Program for urban farmers and community gardeners located in Detroit’s CRS Cluster 4 and support CFA’s school urban gardening program.

  Summer Hours: M-F, twice a month Sunday meetings/workdays, occasional evening meetings
