[Community_garden] ACGA Welcomes Amy DeShon

Thank you for your best wishes and, yes, the Board and staff are a
tremendous asset to me as I acclimate to the specifics of our community
gardening community.
Although, I do have some experience! I worked with about 400 children (ages
5-18) at the Eastside Neighborhood Association for three years landscaping
and doing exterior home improvement projects with the assistance of
neighborhood home owners (through Building Blocks) and operated our
own community garden beds (through the Kalamazoo Nature Center), so I guess
I'm not completely a novice... Just not active as we "speak"... ;-)
