Win a Grant for Your Community Garden 

Project Orange Thumb grant program awards up to $1,500 worth of 

Fiskars(r) garden tools to community garden groups

SAUK CITY, Wis. (February 5, 2007) - Community gardens around the
country 

will have a chance to look even more vibrant this season thanks to
Project 

Orange Thumb -- a grant program sponsored by Fiskars Garden & Outdoor 

Living. 

Project Orange Thumb provides community garden groups with the tools, 

plants and materials they need to reach their individual goals. Gardens
and/or 

gardening projects geared toward community involvement, neighborhood 

beautification, sustainable agriculture and/or horticultural education
are 

eligible. Community garden groups, as well as schools, youth groups, 

community centers, camps, clubs, treatment facilities, etc. are
encouraged 

to apply. Members of community garden groups can apply for 2007 Project 

Orange ThumbSM grants at www.orangethumb.fiskars.com

A total of 10 grants are available and include the following:

* Up to $1,500.00 in Fiskars(r) Garden Tools

* Up to $800.00 for other materials such as plants, seeds, mulch, etc.

* Project Orange Thumb t-shirts for garden members/volunteers
