[Community_garden] Fruit Flies in Worm Bins

Hi, Folks!
I've found that the easiest way to prevent fruit flies in the worm bin is to
NEVER put banana peels in the worm bin. No matter how "clean" they look,
banana peels seems to be loaded with fruit fly eggs -- there's always an
explosion of fruit flies after adding a banana peel to the worm bin. No
banana peel -- no fruit flies in the worm bin.
I either toss my banana peels into an outside compost bin or bury them under
a rose bush (the potassium gives nice blooms!).
