[Community_garden] community garden director question

HI everyone!
I'm looking for examples of cities where a neighborhood design center or 
other nonprofit organization employs a separate 'director' of community 
garden initiatives, meaning, not only cooperating with the community garden 
organizations to upgrade existing gardens but also introducing opportunities 
for outreach, educational series, concerts, art projects, etc. that all go 
towards promoting the gardens as outdoor social/cultural centers. Thank you 
very much for any help you can offer (I know I can always rely on this group 
for lots of great input!)
