[Community_garden] National embarrassment

Hey, Fred,

In case y'all didn't know it, Fred's Food Bank in
Atlanta just hosted the latest ACGA 'growing
communities' training. Big success, and an ideal
facility. Car, schmar, Fred, just show 'em around that
amazing new Food Bank building - environmentally
friendly, energy-efficient, very nice.

As for your car, it just shows how grounded and earthy
you are, not bothered by such things as Hummer envy.
My ol' Ford pickup at the Center - a donation from a
well-heeled guy who had it parked under his crepe
myrtle - also shoots acorns and leaves (willow oak,
has that skinny leaf...) from the vents when I use the
heater. Been doing it for almost a year, even though
I've tried a few times to blow or poke them out. Just
tell them it's a Southern tradition, and take 'em out
for grits.

Don't know about the faux snow, though.

Cheers,

Don Boekelheide
