Hi, all,

Right on, Libby. It is a very mild, weirdly mild,
winter here in the Carolinas. Shirtsleeve weather
yesterday, saw a daffy blooming today - not popping,
full-on blooming - and it is January 7???? We had a
tornado alert last week, this isn't average weather.

Thanks a million, Mike, you are right, Hudson's is on
the list for sure - thanks for replying. I just sat
here and banged out Solomon's list and added a few off
the top of my head - I know there are more great ones
out there. K'mon folks, spit 'em out.

And we didn't even touch nurseries, like Burnt Ridge
and Isons (skuppernong grapes) etc.

And Adam, I'll look around too. Could be that the
Semanis/Burpee rumor is inaccurate, huh? Not the first
problem with intelligence we've seen recently...less
dire consequences, though. On the other hand, I do end
up buying more seeds from the companies on that list
than I do from Burpee (though my wonderful advisor
back at Cal Poly was Chuck Atlee, of the Burpee seed
family - an absolute veggie maven). I trialed Brandy
Boy, Burpee's supposed Better Boy plus Brandywine this
summer. Nyeh, at best.

At least it is raining here,
