those maps are very funny. I am sending them to my son who lives in
Manhattan. I think he may have lost sight of the Pacific Northwest. You are
right about the vast quantity of gardens in NYC, and the leadership of our
community garden pioneers. Maybe in 200 years the west coast cities will
have the same number of sites at NYC, just in smaller parcels than the
current ones we enjoy.
