Hello!
August is a great month to be in the garden. Come learn how to grow and
prepare more healthy food in community gardens and urban farms
throughout NYC. The City Farms trainers are community gardeners who use
hands-on workshops to pass on their knowledge and skills in a fun and
effective way. For example, you may be stuffing green beans and dill in
a jar for those cold winter months at a Canning workshop, or putting
hoops and row covers into the ground to grow food year-round at a Season
Extension workshop. See below or open the attachment to choose from the
August workshops.
We look forward to seeing you in the garden!
Owen Taylor, City Farms Training and Livestock Coordinator, Just Food
p.s. Please pass this along to community gardeners, urban farmers and
friends!
