[Community_garden] Southeast Asian Community Garden

I've been handed a project that was started by a fellow VISTA (Volunteers in
Service to America) member and I need your help. We're trying to start a
community garden for the Southeast Asian population of Visalia, California.
I need to know how to go about getting funded. Any ideas? At this point, we
need funding for everything....testing, materials, land purchase, etc.. Is
it better to try to apply for various smaller grants? Get donations from
different businesses? Would I be wasting my time by applying to large scale
grants?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
