[Community_garden] Power Lines

That's pretty cavalier. It certainly doesn't reflect the medical research
I've seen. (Its been a while, but I recall several well-done and troubling
studies from back when I was a health writer, including one showing that the
risk of cancer for children whose rooms were near outdoor transformers was
much greater than for those not near those things.)
And what about contaminants in the soil from the building of the structures?
And leakage of PCBs and God knows what else from the transformers overhead?
I would walk away from this land; I suspect its only being offered
because nobody else wants it.
Better safe than sorry, Mike McG
