[Community_garden] U.S. Survey of Community Gardens

Bill,
I have developed a survey but by the time I got it together, growing season started and I got REAL busy (teaching 12 credits of new courses, working on PhD , being a daddy, training for 200 mile bike ride, etc), so I was wondering whether I should proceed with it. I received feedback on it already from some folks central to this movement, but it is not fully tested.
It would take quite a bit of effort on everyone's part to make it useful. Someone or several folks in each city would need to do some groundwork and/or well informed guesswork. The last surveys done by ACGA (1998 was the last one) were very limited in scope (30 some cities), so we really have no idea the extent of the movement. 
What do you all think?
