The latest edition of our Friends of Troy Gardens free email newsletter goes
out today. You can view it on our website at
<http://www.troygardens.org/newsletters/08-03.html>
http://www.troygardens.org/newsletters/08-03.html. This edition of our
newsletter highlights topsoil disappearance, a recent Time magazine article
on the coming food crisis, saving rainwater one barrel at a time, loans for
entrepreneurs in developing nations primarily focusing on small
agriculture-related business ventures, more wisdom on oil depletion from
Matt Simmons, and an examination of liquid ammonia as a fuel for the future.

We strive to bring you important, timely information about urban
agriculture, energy issues, sustainable practices, and more while always
cognizant of our world on the brink of oil depletion. Our organization,
<http://www.troygardens.org/> Friends of Troy Gardens, provides an
opportunity for people to grow their own food locally in our community
gardens or purchase locally produced food from our organic farm. A unique
aspect of our program is the additional stewardship of prairie and forest
lands. We also educate children and adults about how to grow food and eat
nutritionally.

If you aren't on our newsletter recipient list, you can sign up at

our newsletters interesting and informative. If you should ever want to
unsubscribe, it is easy to do with the click of your mouse on the
SafeUnsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter.

I encourage you to sign up. I think you will enjoy it.
