[Community_garden] Grant resources for buying land?

We have an established nonprofit Garden Club, and the opportunity to
assume a fabulous well-established downtown market garden, one of the
main supports of our tiny Grower's Market. The owner is getting on in
years, and has the lot up for sale. He's also opened his gates to a
group of us to come help him keep the garden going.  It wouldn't take
much to make it a CSA. We would all hate to see his beautiful soil get
paved, or scraped away for a building.

Does anyone know of grant resources that we could apply to that would
enable us to buy the land?  Our Garden Club has already landed a grant
for a local park, so has the infrastructure in place to administer a
grant.
