[Community_garden] Community gardens on landfills

Janet,

I don't have the answer you're seeking but I have a question for you:

Could you tell me what kinds of chemicals the city engineers are testing for 
and what levels / if any they might consider acceptable?  I'm interested in 
developing guidelines for urban growers on assessing risks from 
contaminants.

If anyone else on this group has developed some sort of "protocol" to 
evaluate potentially contaminated soil for food production, I'd like to hear 
about it.
