[Community_garden] Examples of local health jurisdictions formally supporting urban ag?

I work for a City/County health department and just joined this listserv. Through my physical activity and nutrition promotion work I focus on promoting changes to the built environment to ensure a healthy community for all people. I'm a huge community garden and urban ag advocate and I want to make a formal request to our health department to support urban ag/community garden promotion in the area.

I've read on the ACGA website under "Community Garden Local Legal Initiatives" but haven't found any examples of local Boards of Health resolutions that have been written or other formal ways to get buy-in from your health jurisdiction. Do you have any examples of this you could share with me?

Thanks!
Emily
