Hi, Folks!
After much work and many technical difficulties, the VIDEO TAPE of the
Housing Authority of Chester County (HACC) Board Meeting on 12/18/07 at King
Terrace is now available for viewing!
The audio tape (available at is: http://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/d2wmhn ) is
one unbroken file of 76 minutes - these video clips are about 10 minutes
each and still have a few technical difficulties (jumps/no picture, etc).
Use the video to SEE what happened, but use the audio and Index to make sure
you catch everything that everyone said.
The VIDEO Clips are here:

This is rented server space at a reputable company - you'll have to download
the files to your computer, then read/listen to them once they are on your
hard drive, but there should not be any concerns about viruses or anything
else that will harm your computer.
You'll probably want to print out the Index and then follow along as you
watch the video - the times will not align, but it will guide you through
who folks are.
Thank you to EVERYONE - garden supporters, "open government" activists and
just plain folks who took the time to show up at the meeting on 12/18/07,
lent us equipment so that we could record the meeting to share with the
public and most importantly - spent the last 3 weeks figuring out how to
take the tapes and convert them into useable, shareable files! As my
husband says "We all learned a lot!" (Useful tip - always borrow equipment
from a musician - it always records beautifully! ;-))
Most of us had never done this much work with multimedia before and we
apologize for our long learning curve. The files aren't perfect, but they
are useable and enlightening as we head into the election season, so take
some time (especially with this awful weather coming) to brew yourself a hot
beverage and sit back and listen to what all transpired on 12/18/07 - and be
sure to let the elected (and hopeful-to-be-elected) folks know what you
think about what happened on 12/18/07 and what should happen as the year
progresses.
Thank you again to everyone for all their help. We do appreciate it.
