Dear Krista,
Here in Ridgway, we have decided to garden as a community, rather than individuals. The one exception is for the Elementary Charter School to have their own plot, so the young gardeners can see the direct results of their own efforts.
We chose to garden as a whole, because we are a small garden (a little over a quarter acre) so it will be manageable; and we want to reinforce the values of cooperation rather than more
borders between neighbors. Our harvest sharing will be based upon time spent in the garden, and other work such as soliciting donations, donating and other such supplementary tasks.
We have only just begun this past autumn, so we will certainly share the results as we Grow.
Very best of luck to you!
