[Community_garden] Seeking unheralded but awesome community gardens

Hello All,

Does anyone know of a particularly amazing or interesting community garden going on in your local city? (Especially areas of the Northeast and Northwest?)

I'm currently doing research for a book about community gardens that aims to provide ideas and inspiration for people engaged in their own local projects.  I know there are incredibly creative and successful ideas being enacted all over the country, but new and unheralded ones are oftentimes hard to locate from long distance.  What are some community gardens that inspire you in your neck of the woods?

All ideas welcome!  If you have specific suggestions, or just want to chat directly with me about the topic, I would be happy to hear from you.
