Subject: [bridgeportgardenerscoalition] HELP : One of the huge Patio Tomato plants is wilted!
The other 3 are doing very well. All 4 were purchased at the same time
from the same place and were growing at the same rate and are even in
the same area on the patio. They are given the same amount of water
cause I use a small watering can to do them all.I tested the soil and
the meter reads between dry and moist. I check them all before I water
them to see where they are.... They all have tomatoes that are growing
nicely, even the wilted one has tomatoes, but I am concerned about the
wilting and the brown leaves near the bottom. Now it looks like the
plant is shrinking...All four were doing better than any other tomato
plants I have . The leaves are thick, DARK GREEN and very bushy. All
my other tomatoes are a lighter green but they also are doing very well.
Can anyone give me an idea? Should I give it food? Fertilizer? More
water? Skip a day of watering? I though wilting was from lack of
water....But I don't think that is the case here.Thank you guys for
any help you can give you all have been helpful in the past.
