Hi, Folks!
The Phoenixville Library has a Summer Reading Club for adults this year --
we have to read 15 books and get a prize every 5 books. I haven't seen this
book in the stacks yet, but I did read the Brooklyn Botanic Garden book on
Wildlife Gardening. It was very helpful and now I really, really want a
Sweet Pepperbush for our community garden.
As long as I'm mentioning books, I just finished Book #10 which was a total
hoot: Beautiful Madness: One Man's Journey Through Other People's Gardens
by James Dodson.
It was just so much fun -- plus, even though he lived in Maine, he spent a
lot of time in the Philly area, going to the Philadelphia Flower Show,
Chanticleer, etc. Mike -- did you have him on your show? The guy is a
great writer and just so much fun to read.
I have to get to Winterthur -- I'm totally ashamed I haven't been there yet.
