Dear listserve members,
This past year i became chairperson of the American Society for Landscape Architects Residential Design Professional Practice Network.
One of the duties attendant to this is to produce a newsletter. We got a great deal of positive feedback on the last newsletter and so I’d like to get moving on the next one! However, i would like to get some sources from outside our group, to freshen things up a bit. So, would any of you all be interested in contributing an article?
It would be especially interesting and relevant to get articles about vegetable gardens in residential design, but any topics related to residential landscape design are welcome and the format is quite open – including, but absolutely not limited to:
-opinion pieces
-critical essays about any issues related to residential design -articles on specific residential projects you or your firm or organization have just done or are working on -stories on issues such as state regulations, environmental issues, social issues or anything else currently relevant to your practice -information on plant, hardscape or other material you’ve recently become enamored with -photo essays on residential design currently typical to your state/region -general articles on innovative new ideas or trends -reports on conferences you’ve recently attended -travel articles (saw great residential design ideas on your trip to Singapore and want to share them?)
this is a great opportunity to share opinions, start discussions, further discussion on important issues and reach a lot of interested people, as well as show off projects you’re proud of and in general express yourselves, so please don’t miss out! There is no minimum or maximum size for articles, and you can submit as many images as you like.
Deadline is Sept. 1.
If you have any ideas or inspirations, please send to: faurest.kristin at chello.hu
Thanks!
Kristin
