Hello All,
Dalnavert is a National Historic Site in Winnipeg, it is the home of the first Premier of Manioba who was also the son of the first Prime Minister (John A. MacDonald). Two years ago the house was completely re-done and there was funding for landscaping. The people doing it had a good budget so they bought expensive perennials and just put them in the beds. The beds are like concrete. It is obvious that they need organic matter, but with all of these perennials in place that is hard to do. I have heard of clay buster and know it is carbon of some kind. How does it work, if it works? Would it be reasonable to expect to be able to put it in the beds? Does anyone have any suggestions? Of any kind? Thanks, Karen
