[Community_garden] Community Garden Permitting in Your City

Dear All,

 

Through our organization, we are working at establishing a community
garden in City Heights, San Diego.  The process has been extremely
expensive and difficult, thus we are working with our local council
member to reduce some of these barriers for future gardens by giving
suggestions to possible policies that can be adopted, rewriting/adopting
municipal code in regards to gardens, or developing a community garden
permit category under development projects. 

 

Specifically, they want other examples of other cities that we could
model this off of.  

 

If anyone has examples or information they would like to share I greatly
appreciate.
