[Community_garden] Community Gardens for Vermont Conference

Hello ACGA friends,

It was exciting to read Bill Dawson's posting for the upcoming 
Ohio Community Garden Conference!

Here in Vermont, we're also preparing for a statewide community 
garden conference, to be held this Saturday, March 8 at Vermont 
Technical College.

Seventy people have registered for the conference, representing 
40 of Vermont's 251 towns. If there are Vermonters on the ACGA 
list serv who haven't heard about the conference and would like 
to attend,  walk-in registrations are available. The conference 
is free for participants thanks to generous support from the New 
England Grassroots Environment Fund, the Ben & Jerry's 
Foundation, and The Windham Foundation.

The conference program, workshops, and schedule are available at

conference includes workshops presented by garden organizers
and partners from across Vermont, a seed packet swap with High 
Mowing Seeds, community garden and nonprofit exhibits, 
interactive discussions, and ample time for networking.
