Currently looking at the potential for a grant (or deep discounts) from a
box stores like Home Depot or Lowe's, and companies like Trex. I do need to
provide (prove) the organic/green aspects of these so called boxes.

It serves a few purposes:
    * a place for people with no real place to grow, a place to grow,
    * something big enough for 'communal' uses, ( four to ten persons)
    * utilizes boy scouts, girl scouts and youth service projects for
labor.
    * can contain and or hold in organic soils. (obviously need drainage
but would like to hold on to as much of is as possible.) Have numerous
companies willing to donate the soils, composts and such, (all meet or exceed NOP
standards)
Just need to figure out the container aspect. Looking at a bigger picture
here than your typical container gardens.
Just thought I'd put it out there, this list is great for "putting peoples
heads together"!
