Don't forget that companies selling lumber also have "seconds" that might be
too warped or twisted (I'm thinking, for example, of 2x4's for housebuilding
that I can get for free if I am willing to look thru the pile for the less
than perfect ones) and that they give away for free. I've gotten lots of
free lumber this way. I don't think the plants will mind too much if their
container isn't perfectly square...
Just a thought..
