[Community_garden] U.S. Survey of Community Gardens

Sandy,
About a year ago I submitted the NYC list for inclusion but it took several attempts because our database has different fields of information than the ACGA database. Most of the gardens are now up on the ACGA list as well as a NYC site
http://www.oasisnyc.net/gardens/cenycmapsearch.asp.
There is a problem with updating the ACGA site. At this point I cannot update any listings. I used my name as the contact because I did not want to put any garden contact names and e-mails up without permission. I hoped to turn over updating each individual listing to someone from the individual garden if they requested. This did happen with one garden but since they updated their information I have lost my access to update any others. Someone at the ACGA office was working on this. The problem is that the ACGA site is actually being hosted by Urban Harvest so there are several layers of folks to go thru to coordinate this.
Just a small example of the possible technical difficulties in coordinating a national survey of Cgs.
None the less I have been advocating for this for many years. I will offer my support on getting the NYC part together but I can't take the lead on the overall project

Thanks for the clarification, but that would mean we would need to enter 69 gardens on to your website instead of linking to our website which lists them already. Maybe I could slowly do this but if someone has any other suggestions that would be most helpful.
Thanks for your time,
