[Community_garden] Mushroom Compost

Yes--basic mushroom soils can contain agricultural chemicals. Hopefully,
most or all are destroyed in the process of it composting down to its 'aged'
usable form. Horse and poultry and cow manures have similar problems. And of
course yard waste compost made with lots of clippings from treated lawns can
be hugely problematic.
But I am lucky enough to get the soil from a certified organic mushroom
farm--the best of both worlds!
